Graphically Pond: 1980s British Travel Posters by Edward Pond

Edward Pond was originally a textile designer who trained at the Royal College of Art from 1955-1958. He became a director of Bernard Wardle fabrics, then a director of Polycell. He then went onto set up the company Paperchase, whose logo he also designed. Later on he eventually worked for British Rail and was renowned for his stylised mural designs for Network Southeast Trains.
